Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the REPS iOS application (also referred to in the app UI as “REPS Gym Workout”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the app (the “App”).
“We”, “us”, and “our” refer to the publisher of the App, identified by the iOS bundle identifier com.repstraining.mobileapp (the “Developer”).
Information We Collect
1.1 Account information (when you sign in)
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we (and our authentication providers) may process basic profile information (such as name and profile photo URL, if provided), email address (if provided), and a unique account identifier (for example, a Firebase Authentication user identifier).
1.2 Focus / usage-related information
Based on the current app implementation, we may store records related to focus mode and unlock flows, such as focus/session timestamps, unlock or verification codes generated for unlock flows, and flags indicating focus mode status.
1.3 Subscription status
To determine whether paid access is enabled for your account, we may check for a subscription record associated with your account identifier (for example, a document in the “subscriptions” collection).
1.4 Device permissions
Camera: used only if you choose to capture a profile picture or upload an image to the community. The App requests camera permission to capture an image for a profile picture or a community post. We do not intentionally record or store camera video.
How We Use Your Information
We use information to:
Provide and operate the App (sign-in, session flows, feature access)
Determine subscription eligibility and enable/disable paid features
Maintain security and prevent abuse of backend services
Improve reliability by diagnosing errors (for example, handling failed operations)
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information with service providers and third parties only as needed to operate the App, including Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore (Google LLC), Google Sign-In (Google LLC), Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.), and third-party QR scanning and image/network libraries used in the app.
Analytics and Advertising
Based on the current configuration in the codebase, the App is not configured to show third-party ads, and Firebase Analytics is disabled. We may still use essential backend services (such as Firebase Authentication/Firestore) that process limited device and network information to provide security and deliver the service.
If we enable analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, request your consent.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the App and related services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your choice, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can revoke the permissions in iOS Settings (sign out or stop using the App)
To request deletion or exercise privacy rights, use the support contact listed on the App’s App Store listing for REPS Gym Workout (bundle identifier com.repstraining.mobileapp). We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
International transfers
Our service providers (including Firebase/Google) may process and store information on servers located outside your country/region. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us through the App Store support contact so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
